The Tasmanian Greens candidate for Franklin, Wendy Heatley, today commenced full time on her campaign for the upcoming Federal Election.

“I am ready and excited to be able to be out and about in the electorate, giving Franklin voters strong reasons why people should vote 1 for the Greens in the Lower House.” Ms Heatley began.

“People have become deeply jaded and cynical with ‘big party’ politics and want a fresh, positive and honest change.”

“The Greens have a proven track record in working constructively and cooperatively to produce positive outcomes. The Greens have earned their credibility and the trust that over one million voters placed in us at the last Federal election. We have a history of stable leadership, strong accountability and all the attributes that make us the credible alternative in the Lower House.”

Ms Heatley has a full agenda planned over the next 5 weeks and will be available to meet Franklin residents at Eastlands Shopping Centre on Thursday 22 July and Channel Court, Kingston on Saturday 24 July.
